Small Business Owners Mastermind
The Superior Chamber Small Business Owners Mastermind (SBOM) meets the third Thursday of each month at the Chamber's Conference Room from 9:00am-10:30am. This group is open to all Superior entrepreneurs, business owners, or company executives. The group uses the "Mastermind Concept." The purpose of this group is to:
provide a networking and professional development opportunity for Chamber members in critical decision-making roles in their companies;
provide a collaborative problem-solving vehicle where participants may discuss a wide variety of significant business challenges in a strictly confidential environment;
provide a deeper dive on a critical challenge facing one participant, participants providing feedback and ideas for resolution; and
provide a succinct eductional opportunity, exploring one relevant article or concept in a brief, guided discussion.
SBOM is led by the Chamber's Executive Director, T.J. Sullivan. Participants are asked to RSVP no later than 48 hours prior to the monthly meeting, and everyone will be sent an agenda, worksheet, and short reading before the meeting.
If you would like to participate, please email the Chamber offices at email@example.com or call 303-554-0789. There is no fee to participate, but you must be a Superior Chamber of Commerce member or an invited guest.
Our guest speaker this month is Elizabeth Thompson-Barrett, a recently joined member of the Chamber and the new owner of Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Louisville. She's been a business owner for 15 years and has also spent 25 years in the Accounting field. She has helped companies save thousands of dollars, reduce expenditures, and turn around their financial situations. She is going to talk to us about things we can be doing in Q4 to set our businesses on a stronger financial path for the new year.
