Arbor Day Celebration

Celebrate Arbor Day with the Town of Superior! Originally scheduled for Saturday, April 16 - NOW on April 23 from 10am - 12noon for activities in the park for the whole family. Check out the amenities from basketball courts, multi-purpose fields, slackline poles, and a great playground. Refreshments will be served by Panera Bread. Program will include the Tree City USA Award Ceremony, educational activities, eco-friendly vendors and tree planting.

Arbor Day Art Contest!
The Superior Youth Leadership Council would like to announce this year's Arbor Day Art Contest! Superior residents can show off their artistic talents by submitting nature themed photography, paintings or digital art pieces to be judged by the Superior Youth Leadership Council. Submissions will be accepted between March 1 - April 23. Winners from each age group will be announced and awarded at the Arbor Day event on April 23 from 10 am-Noon.
 
Age submission categories include:
- Ages 3-5
- Ages 7-11
- Ages 12-17
- Ages 18+
 
Click here for official rules, regulations and forms. Participants may submit entry forms online or drop them off at the Parks, Recreation and Open Space office located at 127 E. Coal Creek Drive. Participants must bring their art work to the Arbor Day event on April 23 between 10 am-11 am.
