SUBJECT: Residential Post-Flood Safety Informational Session THIS THURSDAY!
 
Do you need to replace your furnace, insulation, hot water heater or other appliances because of last month’s flooding? Are you concerned about finding a qualified contractor that can install equipment safely and at reasonable cost? Do I need a building permit?
 
Boulder County is committed to actively supporting all of the residents who have been impacted by the flood to navigate the many steps towards recovery. Come to the community safety informational session from 5-6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17 at LifeBridge Christian Church (10345 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO 80504) to learn about assistance services, programs, and best practices to clean up and repair or rebuild safely and stronger.
 
Topics to be discussed will include: 
Flood-damaged equipment & contractor selection
Energy efficiency & financing
Building permits & code compliance
Healthy cleanup of mold & asbestos
Landlord/tenant rights & responsibilities
