Date: January 12, 2016
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM MST
The book, Disconnected Kids, will be discussed at the Brain Balance of Superior / PEN book club starting January 12, 2016.
Event Description:
Are you a parent of a of K-8th grader who struggles with learning, behavioral or social issues stemming from autism, Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD, dyslexia or similar condition? Then join us for a book club discussion on Disconnected Kids.

Each year, an estimated 1.5 million children - one out of every six - are diagnosed with autism, Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD, dyslexia, and a number of other sensory and processing disorders.

Brain Balance founder Dr. Robert Melillo’s book, Disconnected Kids, brings a fundamentally new understanding to the cause of these conditions based on the premise that if the two hemisphere’s of the brain are out of sync, it cannot fully function as a whole. Hence the symptoms that are plaguing many kids today.

This book club will discuss, at a high level, how parents can use the drug-free Brain Balance approach at home, as outlined in Disconnected Kids. The book documents real results that have dramatically improved the quality of life for children and their families in every aspect: behavioral, emotional, academic, and social.

During this 4 week book club, we’ll cover high level takeaways from the book, including:
  • Identifying signs and symptoms of brain dysfunction
  • Levels of child brain development
  • Fully customizable exercises that target physical, sensory, and academic performance
  • A behavior modification plan
  • Advice for identifying food sensitivities that play a hidden role
  • A follow-up program that helps to ensure lasting results
