CHAMBER EVENT: Arbor Day Celebration
This year's Arbor Day and Park Grand Opening festivities will take place at the Town's newest park - Wildflower Park - located at 3151 S. Indiana Street. The event will begin with a New Park Grand Opening Ceremony and a presentation from the Colorado State Forest Service followed by a morning full of Arbor Day and Grand Opening activities.
Activities will include tree planting, educational and eco-friendly vendors & crafts, the Arbor Day Art contest, park games, hula hoop making and more! Light refreshments will be provided by Panera Bread. Don't miss out on this fun family event!
You won’t want to leave Arbor Day without trying out The Arbor Day Fitness Challenge! Explore Wildflower Park by completing a park-wide obstacle course through all of our new amenities. Entry is two canned food items per team. Families, Couples or Friends can join together to complete the challenge. Teams who complete the course will be entered into a raffle to win some fun prizes. Brought to you by the Superior Youth Leadership Council.

The Superior Youth Leadership Council would like to announce this year's Arbor Day Art Contest! Superior residents can show off their artistic talents by submitting nature themed photography, paintings or digital art pieces to be judged by the Superior Youth Leadership Council. Submissions will be accepted between March 1 - April 23. Winners from each age group will be announced and awarded at the Arbor Day event.Age submission categories include:
- Ages 3-5
- Ages 7-11
- Ages 12-17
- Ages 18+
Click here for official rules, regulations and forms. Participants may submit entry forms online or drop them off at Town Hall, located at 124 E. Coal Creek Drive. Participants must bring their art work to the Arbor Day event on April 15 between 9 am-10 am.
