Join us along with the members of the Lafayette and Louisville Chambers for a non-partisan discussion about the Boulder County changes to the election and voting process. Boulder County Clerk & Recorder Hillary Hall will share her presentation: Elections in Boulder County – Everything you wanted to know! Elections Matter Every Year! While 2017 may not be as high-profile of an election as 2016, there are critical issues on the ballot across Boulder County and many of our local cities have council or ward seats up for election.
Come learn about how you can be a resource in your community for basic election information (especially for all our newcomers!).
You’ll learn about what makes elections in Colorado unique, Colorado’s new voting system, ballot security, and a preview of the changes for how unaffiliated voters get to participate in next year’s primary election. Begin your day with an informational session and continental breakfast at Sweet Spot Cafe in Louisville at the Coal Creek Golf Course.
Cost is $5 for continental breakfast.
