Colorado Conservatory of Dance: Nutcracker Tea

Charming holiday event for children of all ages:
The Colorado Conservatory of Dance presents their annual Nutcracker Tea at The Gatehouse at Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette.
 
Colorado Conservatory of Dance, formerly the School of Ballet Nouveau Colorado, will hold its enchanting and popular Nutcracker Tea on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 11:00am-1:00pm.
 
Children, parents, and grandparents will enjoy the beauty and elegance of this time-honored event. With Victorian-styled edible delights and Celestial Seasonings tea, young attendees will learn about the history of the traditional English tea party.
 
To entertain the audience, the Drosselmeyer will impart the beloved story of The Nutcracker, allowing children unfamiliar with the story to learn about the beloved characters and Tchaikovsky’s masterful music. As she delights the audience with her tale, CCD’s talented pre-professional dancers will bring the story to life by dancing excerpts and divertissements from the ballet. At the end of the mini-performance, all of the children will get to come up and dance, too! All guests can enter to win 2 free tickets to CCD’s sumptuous production of The Nutcracker with international guest stars Adiarys Almeida and Joseph Gatti.
