Crystal Springs Caribbean Fiesta and 13 Party!

This Saturday, in conjunction with Arepas Caribbean Food, Crystal Springs will be hosting a “Caribbean Fiesta and “13” party. Arepas Caribbean food has set the menu: Rellenas, Empenadas, Rice, Cuban Black Beans and Salmon Mango Ceviche. All their food is gluten free, local, AND organic. Arepas will be at the brewery from 3:00 to 9:00 PM.

Saturday is also the 13^th of the month, which means we will be also celebrating with our monthly “13” party. Our special beer release this month is a Rye IPA.

“Rye thrives in the harshest of conditions and has been a staple grain for ages with its spicy black pepper-like flavor. Our Rye IPA (Rye-P-A) fruity, citrus, floral, and earthy hop notes counter the dry spiciness of the rye, giving a resolute balance between the contrasting hop and malt characters. It is bold and unrepentant, but eminently rewarding for those game enough to try it. ABV: 6.7%/IBUs: 69.6.”

We are rapidly moving toward having our new 15 bbl brewhouse up and running. Needless to say, we are very excited – not only to be able to brew more beer but that our new brewhouse was made in Colorado by Rocky Mountain Vessels in Montrose, Colorado. We have also ordered two 15 bbl fermenters from RMV. By the time we are finished with this expansion, our brewing equipment will not only be all American made, it will be all Colorado made!
