Baseline Road, Lafayette.)  This is a joint Chamber event with Louisville and Lafayette so make sure to reserve your seat now! $10 for members with advanced RSVP or $12 for non-members and at the door. Here is more detail about the event...

Having a professional online presence is important to all of us.  Building your online presence through social media sites like LinkedIn can play a major role in attracting new customers and driving traffic to your website.

LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network ─ yet many small business owners are so busy they cannot fully understand its potential to generate leads. In many cases, LinkedIn profiles appear in the first 10 online search results.

Who Should Attend?
This basic training is designed for professionals that:

  • Already have some understanding of LinkedIn.
  • Want to better understand LinkedIn and what it can do for them professionally.
  • Are simply too busy to learn LinkedIn on their own.
  • Looking for a faster way to figure out LinkedIn.

Seminar description:
In this Eye Opener Breakfast, you’ll learn how to get the most out of LinkedIn including:
  • Why LinkedIn is important to your professional and company online visibility.
  • 10 best practices for a professional LinkedIn Profile (personal page).
  • Creating a profile that stands out and positions you as an expert.
  • How to grow your professional network online.
  • Use LinkedIn as a research tool for customers, prospects and competitors.
  • Things you should never do on LinkedIn.
Suggested audience:
Business owners, salespeople and those responsible for marketing.

Prior to founding Walker-Stanley Communications, Tricia held various marketing and communication positions of increasing responsibility at Superior-based Key Equipment Finance where she worked for over 11 years, most recently as a vice president of corporate development.

She received her B.A. from the University of Rochester (NY) and her M.B.A. from Wayne State University (MI). Tricia is actively involved in the community. She is past president of the Talking Ideas Toastmasters Club, co-founder of the Front Range B2B networking group, a bronze member of the Superior Chamber of Commerce, and a communications and technology volunteer at Monarch High School.
