Hunger Hurts the Whole Community Food & Fund Drive Kicks Off

Benefitting Community Food Share
April 7-9, 2017

Help us collect 30,000 meals in 3 days!
 
HOW TO PARTICIPATE


Donate Food: Purchase or drop off non-perishable food items at sites listed below  
 
Donate Funds: $1 = 3 meals! Give at www.communityfoodshare.org/give
 
Donate Time: Sign up to volunteer at www.communityfoodshare.org/hunger-hurts
 
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

Store Greeters: Encourage shoppers to purchase and donate food items while stationed at the entrances of grocery stores. Great for groups and families, as well as individuals!

Drivers: Transport food donations from participating grocery stores to our warehouse in Louisville.

 
MOST NEEDED FOOD ITEMS

Nut Butters
Soups & Stews
Cereal & Oatmeal
Canned Tuna & Chicken
Baby Food & Formula (Not Expired)
Beans (Canned or Dry) 
Canned Fruits
Canned Vegetables 
Pasta & Sauce
Rice

Please donate packaged, non-perishable items, and avoid glass containers.

 
ABOUT COMMUNITY FOOD SHARE
Community Food Share’s mission is to be a leader in our community’s effort to end hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. More than 9.1 million pounds of food are distributed annually through a network of over 40 local non-profit organizations as well as Community Food Share’s onsite and mobile pantries that directly serve low-income families and seniors.
