Monster Mash

Calling all ghosts, goblins, and ghouls! We’re brewing up even more Halloween fun this year on Main Street and Civic Space in Downtown Superior at the Superior Youth Leadership Council’s annual Monster Mash Party on Saturday, October 24 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.! This boo-tiful, family-friendly event is free and open to all - no registration required. Join us for a fang-tastic evening of spellbinding craft stations, sinking your teeth into spooky games, and frightfully-fun free face painting. Main Street will transform into Trick-or-Treat Street, where little pumpkins can collect sweets from Downtown Superior storefronts, along with local businesses hosting festive Trunk-or-Treat booths. Lastly, make sure to come dressed for our spook-tacular costume contest! While prizes are reserved for our youngest costumed creatures, everyone is encouraged to join the fun by dressing up. After all, you’re never too old to have a gourd time! We hope to see you there - join us, if you dare!

Contest Times:

• Ages 4 & Under: 5:30-6 p.m. (Winners Announced 6:15 p.m.)
• Ages 5-8: 6:15-6:45 p.m. (Winners Announced 7 p.m.)
• Ages 912: 7-7:30 p.m. (Winners Announced 7:45 p.m.)
   

How To Enter: Show up at the start time for your age range and stand in line! Your child will be given a number plate prior to getting on the stage. Each child will have a turn walking on stage to announce their costume. Winners announced at designated times, must be present to win.

Costumes aren't just for the kids! If you have a costume you'd like to throw on, it's highly encouraged.

Trick-or-Treat Street: Main Street in Downtown Superior will transform into Trick-or-Treat Street, where downtown businesses will hand out candy to all our little pumpkins! Check out the list of participating businesses below.
