Treats for Troops
November 1 & 2
The Superior Youth Leadership Council will be celebrating Halloween this year by giving troops overseas a sweet treat and are looking for your help! Kids can bring their unopened candy leftovers from Halloween and letters for our troops to local donation drop-offs to be collected and sent to deployed soldiers with the help of Operation Gratitude.
Donations include:
Letters for Troops
Unopened candy (No Pixie Sticks Please!)
Individually-packaged toothbrushes
Dental floss & Toothpaste
This year there will be drop-off locations at the local schools during school hours (see list below) and Superior Town Hall from 5 pm – 8 pm on November 1 and 2. Families who bring in treats to Town Hall have the added convenience of driving through and dropping off treats in the parking lot, or they may come inside to write a letter to the troops and take a photo with the Superior Youth Leadership Council. For any treats brought to Town Hall, families will have the chance to be entered to win gift cards to Cinebarre, Old Chicago, and Chuck E Cheese!
Donation boxes will be located at:
