Karen W. Hertz is the founder of Holidaily Brewing Company. In her early 30’s, Karen survived both melanoma and thyroid cancers, leading to a treatment regimen including a gluten-free diet. At our luncheon, Colorado native Hertz, will share her story in coming up with the idea and creating Holidaily Brewing Company, a dedicated gluten-free brewery. Since opening the brewery in 2016, Holidaily has grown over 1000%. After years of exponential growth in Colorado, Holidaily Brewing opened the doors to a new production brewery in May of 2019, making them the largest dedicated gluten-free brewery in the U.S. The expansion increased their brewing capacity, allowing them to open a second taproom location in Colorado, and expand distribution to eight additional states, with continued growth in their future. Karen will share with us how the brewery has grown and where she plans on leading it. In addition to running her business with now 42 employees, Hertz has a husband, twin teenage girls and a labrador and will talk about her best practices in life balance.
