Name: DaVinci Institute's "Securing Your Digital Identity by Learning How It’s Hacked"
Date: July 28, 2016
Time: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM MDT
Event Description:

In today’s society we are in constant contact with the Internet. Our social, business, financial and medical lives are all connected to the Internet and every month we are seeing new data breeches. So how do we protect ourselves? The bad news is that we, as consumers don’t have a lot of control of our online content, but we do have some control.

That’s why we’ve invited cybersecurity expert, Chuck Davis, to show us how to take control of our digital identity and be less of a target for hackers. He will show how passwords are hacked and explain why you need a long password with upper case, lower case, numbers and special characters. Mr. Davis will also share a trick you can use to create a strong, unique password for every online account that you will remember! Chuck will review the pros and cons password storage tools and the importance of using multi-factor authentication everywhere it is available.

By the end of this talk, you will be able to take control of your digital life by gaining the knowledge and tools needed, to understand and reduce the risk of having your online credentials hacked.
