Having a professional online presence is important to all of us.  Building your online presence through social media sites like LinkedIn can play a major role in attracting new customers and driving traffic to your website.
 
LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network ─ yet many small business owners are so busy they cannot fully understand its potential to generate leads. In many cases, LinkedIn profiles appear in the first 10 online search results.

About the Presenter
Tricia Akins founded Walker-Stanley Communications in 2011 after 20+ years in corporate marketing and communications. Her company specializes in helping B2B companies strengthen their brand image — online and in person — through an integrated approach that leverages the traditional and internet marketing activities required for growth.  
 
Prior to founding Walker-Stanley Communications, Tricia held various marketing and communication positions of increasing responsibility at Superior-based Key Equipment Finance where she worked for over 11 years, most recently as a vice president of corporate development.
 
She received her B.A. from the University of Rochester (NY) and her M.B.A. from Wayne State University (MI). Tricia is actively involved in the community. She is past president of the Talking Ideas Toastmasters Club, co-founder of the Front Range B2B networking group, a bronze member of the Superior Chamber of Commerce, and a communications and technology volunteer at Monarch High School. Tricia, her husband Mike and their two children live in Superior.
